Thoughts
Following an episode of QI recently, Eric featured in the program and his heroic handling of BA Flight 9 in 1982.
Amazingly enough he was actually in the studio and spoke a few words about the flight and his gross understatement to the passengers on board.
it made such an impact on me, and was therefore very sorry to hear of his death.
So many are indebted to him.
